In October 2022, Michael took his fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose (second booster). Within 36 hours, Michael experienced his first neurological event that left him dragging his leg. Over the next two years, Michael's neurological state continued to diminish to the point where, in September of 2024, he was admitted to Long-Term Care, with almost total motor-function loss.

Unfortunately, on March 8, 2026, Michael was denied by the Vaccine Injury Support Program; however, he continues to work very hard at his recovery from this debilitating injury. While Michael has been very blessed to have found alternative therapies that have led to an improvement in his health, he is still not able to walk and continues to reside in Long-Term Care.

If you would like to donate, your donation will go directly towards helping Michael with his expenses for medicines, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and other treatments for his ongoing challenges. We also hope to find assistance with the denial of his VISP claim.
