One Step at a Time: Help Poppy on Her Journey to Walk

Dear friends and family of the Dowling family. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read Poppy's story. As many of you know, Poppy, the youngest of the Dowling clan, was born with a rare muscular condition known as Arthrogryposis. In addition to this, she is also suffering from clubbed feet. With this, Poppy is limited in her mobility, leaving her unable to stand and walk as any 2-year-old would do. Recently, the Dowling family was able to seek help from the Paley Institute in Florida who is going to give Poppy a chance to do something that we never thought possible... WALK!! A Doctor, specializing in Poppy's condition, is going to give her a second chance at a life in which she can do the things we never imagined possible. The Dowling family will be required to uproot their lives for 3 months to relocate to Florida for the surgery and Poppy's recovery. Unfortunately, the cost will be mostly out of pocket due to the out of state location of this Physician. Any money (there's no amount too small) donated will be used to help with medical, housing, and travel expenses that are accrued during this time. We are also asking for prayers to lift Poppy and the Dowling family up as they undergo many stressors in the next couple of months. Every child deserves the chance to walk, and this is Poppy's chance! Thank you
