Support One Step Ahead Of Mental Health

Hi, my name is Mal Lee. I founded Don't X The Line (CIC) Community Interest Company in December 2003. This successful grassroots campaign has had volunteers working tirelessly to raise funds and also awareness for community appeals by doing activities such as Marathon Walks/Runs, Sky Diving, 3 Day and 12 Hour mountain challenges, even a 3 day challenge of Hadrian's Wall,the fab thing about this was, all activities were completed.Top Team.

We had a more pleasant challenge put together with music, but this does not reflect the true stamina, sheer grit, and determination of our team of children that we put together a fantastic mixed ages of youth for our Hearts Of Gold Choir, including choreographers, the choir from the ages of 8-16 years have released the old Bill Withers song ''Lean On Me'' joining the Choir,will be a Professional male singer and musicians, Also we had a production company to make a music video, including Interviews with some celebrities to help to raise the profile of the children singing the song, which is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music,Amazon Music.Any profits made will automatically go to the copyrighters and writers of the song, as this is just an awareness song for mental health struggles put together for mental health awareness, we are trying to re - coup the monies spent out to help us to continue to promote the awareness,and also benefit other community projects with the Heart Of Gold Initiatives.

Over a period of 6 Months of rehearsal on and off and 11 months of planning by myself, the children were finally ready to record the song, both on audio and video .Now we are pleased to say, it is here for all to enjoy, and also to acknowledge the sheer enthusiasm and committment from all involved in the making off the song and video. The hard work has finally paid off and come together.

We are now asking for your support to help to promote the awareness of One Step Ahead Of Mental Health at grassroots football, and beyond, spread the word far and wide with this much needed Initiative for our children, as no child should Suffer in Silence.

The song has been released to portray the message of Mental Health struggles and we are now appealing for your help to raise much needed funding to keep on top of this awareness Initiative for the days, and months ahead.

If we can help just one person from self harming, and help to prevent suicidle thoughts from those young minds, Then we are succeeding and it is all been worthwhile, Hope, can be turned into reality, and negativity, can be turned into positivity, Your donation, no matter how large or small, can and will make a difference to get our message out there, Struggles maybe eased with a call to someone you know and trust.

We are also hoping to attract media coverage that will help us get the message out there.

We do understand, that in these hard times, asking for funding is tough to achieve due to the rising costs of basically everything within society. We just ask for anything that you maybe able to afford,and then share the link with your family and friends.
