Help Us Bring the Blessings of Qurbani to the Poorest Communities in Sierra Leone
In the heart of Sierra Leone, far from the spotlight, remote communities are facing unimaginable hardship.
Families with disabilities, widows, orphans, and the elderly are often forgotten — struggling each day without access to proper food, healthcare, or support. Many go months, sometimes years, without tasting meat.
This Eid al-Adha, you can change that.
Amina Equality Concern is a grassroots charity dedicated to supporting and advocating for people with disabilities in Sierra Leone.
Every year, we work tirelessly to reach some of the most remote and impoverished villages — bringing not just food, but dignity, hope, and joy.
This Qurbani, we need your help.
We are raising funds to perform Qurbani in these underserved areas, ensuring that the most vulnerable families — especially those with disabilities — can celebrate Eid with full hearts and full plates.
• One cow costs £595 and provides 7 shares.
• A single share costs just £85 — and will feed multiple families.
Your donation will go directly towards purchasing a cow, arranging slaughter according to Islamic guidelines, and distributing fresh meat to those who need it most.
Our local team on the ground will ensure that every share reaches a family who would otherwise go without.
This is more than charity — it’s a sacrifice that brings joy, unity, and spiritual reward.
Please give what you can, and share this page widely.
Together, we can honor the true spirit of Eid and make sure no one is left behind.
Donate now and make your Qurbani count.
Thank you & jazakum Allahu khairan for your compassion.
