Help Me Defend My Rights Against Police Abuse of Power

I am asking for your help to defend myself against a coordinated and deeply troubling campaign of retaliation and intimidation by the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

I have filed a Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) complaint against the NRPS and Constable Ashley Del Duca. Since early 2024, I allege that the NRPS and OPP have begun collaborating in what amounts to a smear campaign designed to discredit me, silence me, and exhaust me financially.

➜ This is not about public safety.
➜ This is about power.

What’s Happening

I allege that:

➜ The NRPS has contacted one or more regulatory bodies in an apparent effort to trigger investigations against me.
➜ The OPP has already attempted to interfere with my employment, including efforts to have me fired.
➜ These actions are part of a broader strategy to intimidate and punish me for asserting my rights and seeking accountability.

This conduct reflects two dangerous practices:

➜ Prior restraint
➜ Prior restraint occurs when authorities attempt to suppress lawful speech, advocacy, or expression before it can occur—rather than responding to any proven wrongdoing. In my case, police actions appear aimed at chilling my ability to speak, work, and advocate.

Lawfare
➜ Lawfare is the use of legal systems and regulatory processes as weapons—not to seek justice, but to harass, drain resources, and silence critics. Even when someone is innocent, the process itself becomes the punishment.

An Unequal Fight

  • Fighting the NRPS and the OPP is timely, exhausting, and extremely expensive.
  • Police officers like Constable Del Duca are backed by a small army of taxpayer-funded lawyers.
  • Applicants like me are expected to stand alone.

Very few lawyers specialize in human rights litigation, and securing competent representation is difficult and costly.

None of the matters I am facing qualify for Legal Aid, a fact police institutions are well aware of—and exploit.

I urgently need:

➜ Legal representation for my Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario case
➜ Counsel for my matter before the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada, where I am fighting what I believe to be a coordinated and bad-faith enforcement campaign, likely led by Bill Fordy and managed by Jeff Inch

Why This Matters

This is not just about me.

If police services can:

➜ Coordinate across agencies,
➜ Weaponize regulatory bodies,
➜ Interfere with someone’s livelihood,
➜ And drain their resources until they give up—

then no one who challenges authority is safe.

As someone who has spent years documenting abuses of power and advocating for civil liberties, I know how rare it is for individuals to push back. That rarity is by design.

How You Can Help

Your support will go directly toward:

➜ Retaining experienced human rights counsel
➜ Legal research, filings, and tribunal preparation
➜ Defending my ability to work, speak, and exist without intimidation
➜ Every contribution—large or small—helps push back against a system that counts on silence, fear, and financial exhaustion.

If you can’t donate, please share this campaign. Visibility is one of the few tools individuals have when confronting institutional power.

A Final Word

Justice should not be reserved for those who can afford it.
Accountability should not come with a price tag designed to break people.

If you believe that police should not be above the law,
If you believe human rights matter,
If you believe the process should not be the punishment—

Please stand with me. Donate. Share. Help me keep going.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for refusing to look away.
