Every mother deserves a safe and dignified delivery. Yet in Uganda, many expectant mothers give birth without access to basic medical supplies due to long distances to health facilities, limited transportation, and poverty. This puts both mothers and newborns at serious risk.
My name is Denis Bogere, and I am the President of Twegaite Global, a nonprofit organization committed to improving maternal and newborn health in underserved communities in Uganda. I am raising funds to support the Twegaite Global Maama Kit Program.
Each Maama Kit contains essential birth supplies that help prevent infection, reduce complications, and support safe deliveries for mothers, babies, and midwives. These kits are provided early—beginning in the second trimester—so mothers are prepared long before labor begins.
We work closely with midwives, Village Health Teams, health facilities, and local leaders to identify expectant mothers and ensure kits reach those who need them most.
This program is sustained entirely by the generosity of donors.
Whether you give $20 or $500, your support gives a newborn a healthier start to life. Please donate today and share this campaign with your network.
Together, we can ensure that no mother gives birth unprepared or alone.
