One Million Step Challenge for Pieta House
Donation protected
Beginning on May 17th, I plan to walk one million steps in 10 weeks - approx 14,500 per day.
I had started this challenge in January but didn't manage to complete it after picking up COVID19. I had very little energy and found this really tough, not just physically but mentally too. I overcame that feeling but knew that I was not the only one struggling and that for some people, due to the challenges and isolation of COVID19, life had begun to seem unbearable.
This is why I have chosen to raise money for Pieta House. Pieta provide free counselling to those with suicidal ideation, those engaging in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. An important service at any time but particularly vital following the challenging year that has been had by all.
