A Mother's Battle

My journey all started in 2010, just 3 months after I tragically lost my loving son, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. I did all the treatments possible, from chemotherapy to radiation. Finally I had fought my battle and won! I was cancer free!!! Unfortunately, 5 years later I was feeling under the weather, coughing and having a real hard time breathing. So off to the doctor I went, only to learn that It wasn't just a cold. The cancer was back, but this time its worse. I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer, Stage 4 Lung Cancer and Multiple areas of Bone Cancer. Ive been doing as the doctor says, from doing all the treatments to the big one of all, not working. I have so much on my plate right now I don't know where to begin. As I do my best on being positive not only for myself but for my family, I still struggle.. All these medical bills, house bills, and my medications, just keep rising. To the point where I can't even afford my one $12,000 monthly prescription. The battle is tough but like I said I have to keep my head held high and fight this like I did before. I don't like to ask for much help but I will ask that you Please keep not only myself in your prayers but my family as well!

We all have that one friend who's mom is one who you treat as your own. I know I do and that story you just read is my best friends mom. She is one loving momma. Always there to help one another any way she can. She's been through so many obstacles throughout her life, yet this woman still has a smile on her face. I would love to make that smile of hers grow more. I don't personally know the financial struggle with cancer but I do know it has to be rough. I have been trying to to figure out any way possible to help. I know she doesn't like to ask for much like she said, but in life we all need a little help here and there. So my friends I ask you to help out this loving momma battle her cancer. Ive set up this fund to get some money raised to help pay with all the medical, house, and prescription bills she's struggling with. Our starting goal is to reach at least 15,000. That would be just enough to get her started on the monthly  prescription of Ibrance that she can't afford but needs, and possibly towards some other bills.
