Greetings,

My name is Andrew and I love Jamaica. The island has shaped who I am in countless ways. I currently live in Mandeville, Jamaica with my wife and our 4 children. But this isn't about me. It's about helping the beautiful people of Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa was a historic Category 5 storm that made landfall on October 28, 2025, becoming the strongest hurricane to ever hit the island. It caused catastrophic damage, including loss of life, widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and power.

The recovery process will be long and painful, but resilience is embedded in the DNA of Jamaicans.

Many of my family members and close friends in Manchester and St. Elizabeth have been directly affected. They’re without power, food, water, and other daily essentials. While aid is coming, it’s slow, and many rural communities are being left behind. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser.

How the funds will be used

All donations will go directly toward purchasing and delivering the following supplies to affected families and communities in Manchester and St. Elizabeth:

•Non-perishable food

•Bottled water

•First aid kits

•Flashlights and batteries

•Solar-powered chargers and power banks

•Diapers and baby formula

•Feminine hygiene products

•Emergency tarps and basic shelter items

I’ll be working with on-the-ground contacts in Jamaica (including family members and trusted local community leaders) to coordinate purchases and distribution. As items are bought and delivered, I’ll provide updates and receipts/photos here on this page so you can see exactly where your support is going.
