My name is Valerie X born in London uk and I am Jamaican by heritage. I have historically raised funds and alongside my daughter provide push chairs for single mothers. In Ghana I have also raised funds to facilitate an operation for a child that had an umbilical hernia. In the wake of Hurricane Melissa's devastating impact on Jamaica, in conjunction with Pathwaze Ltd, I am reaching out to you with heavy hearts. This catastrophic event has left an indelible mark on the island nation, uprooting families, destroying homes, and leaving communities in ruins. The people of Jamaica have shown incredible resilience in the face of this natural disaster, but the road to recovery will be long and arduous.
As the death toll continues to rise and hundreds of thousands remain without power, it is more important than ever to come together and provide much-needed support to those affected. We must stand with Jamaica during this dark time and offer assistance to the individuals and families whose lives have been irrevocably changed.
Every GBP donated to this campaign will make a difference in the lives of those struggling to rebuild. I will be travelling to Jamaica in December to oversea the distribution of funding. Your generosity will provide essential aid, including food and women personal hygiene items. Together, we can help the people of Jamaica regain a sense of hope and normalcy in the aftermath of this tragedy.
Please consider making a donation to show your support for Jamaica and its people. No contribution is too small, and every act of kindness brings us closer to healing the wounds inflicted by Hurricane Melissa. Let us come together to demonstrate the true power of compassion and unity in the face of adversity.
