Mike is fundraising for Middagh Goodwin, a friend who has dedicated decades of love, energy, and service to the ska community. Through the internationally syndicated radio show This Is Ska, concert promotion, and tireless support of musicians around the world, Middagh has helped keep the music and community so many people cherish alive and thriving. Now Middagh is facing one of the greatest challenges of life: a diagnosis of multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. As treatment and recovery begin, this is a moment for the community Middagh has given so much to to come together and give back with the same generosity and heart.
The funds raised will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and daily living costs during treatment and recovery, so Middagh can focus on health and healing. The ska community has always been about more than music. It is about friendship, unity, compassion, and standing together when one of our own needs help. Mike is asking musicians, DJs, promoters, friends, and ska fans around the world to come together for Middagh. Every donation helps, and sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated.
Middagh has spent life supporting this community. Now it is time for the community to stand behind Middagh. One love. One family. One ska community. Let’s help Middagh keep the music playing.
