Join me, Rose Burr, in raising funds for a great cause! After years of volunteering in Mexico, I helped co-found an organization dedicated to helping women in need.
One Life to Love in Baja is a women's shelter located in Vicente Guerrero, Baja California Mexico that provides a safe home for abused and abandoned women and their children. Our mission is to break the cycle of abuse and violence through guidance, love, and education while helping women discover their potential.

The shelter opened in March 2017 and has grown tremendously in such a short time because the need in the community is so great. Although our facilities only really allow for 12 residents, we normally have 15 to 20 women in our care as well as their children. We are so full that unfortunately sometimes we have to turn women away. Our long term plans include purchasing land and constructing a larger facility to better serve and meet the needs of the women.
Right now, we desperately need funds to get by on a month to month basis hence this Go Fund Me campaign which I am hoping to raise $20,000 by the end of Dec 2018. Your donation helps provide the women with housing, food, medical care, school supplies, counseling, transportation, job and life skills training, and a variety of classes including parenting, nutrition, computer, art, English, and more.

All money donated through this campaign goes to the women's shelter, One Life To Love In Baja. to help with the day to day expenses. Thanks for your support, every dollar makes a difference!
*For clarification, One Life To Love In Baja operates under the umbrella of New Beginnings Women's Association (NBWA) and if you'd also like to contribute on a monthly basis, this can be set up through NBWA website To learn more about us please click here and visit One Life To Love In Baja FB page.
