On December 4th, 2019 I lost my wonderful dad to brain cancer, a horrible fast-acting disease. My dad was an avid runner and cyclist and within a few weeks of being diagnosed, had lost all mobility as well as his sight. Dad and I took part in cycle rides yearly, raising money for charity and riding thousands of miles each year, Paris-Geneva, Milan-Rome, and Rome-Bari. I'm taking dad on one final ride with me. I'll be carrying his ashes from our home in Suffolk to Bari, Italy for a total of 1461 miles.
Money raised will go to the Brain Tumour Charity, St Nicholas Hospice, a small portion will also go towards helping pay for the ride and dads funeral and memorial.
