Hi, my name is George Towobola, thank you for giving me your attention. I do not take it for granted.

My father was a true giver, not because he had an abundance, but because he couldn’t bear to see anyone around him go without. He was the kind of man who, even with nothing in his pocket, would make sure others had something to eat. He gave until there was nothing left to give. not for praise, not for recognition, but because that was who he was.

He passed away in Holland on the 30th April 2025, far from the home and roots he always cherished. I remember the few deep conversations we had about death. Each time, he would say to me: “George my son, When it’s my time to go, no matter where I am, it’s your responsibility to take me back to Home and lay me to rest.” That was his wish - to return home, to be buried in the land that gave him life.

I’ve managed to raise 60% of the total cost through personal effort and help from close family and friends. But I’m struggling to cover the remaining 40%, and that’s why I’ve turned to this platform - not out of convenience, but out of deep necessity

Now, I’m reaching out to you reading this for help to fulfill that promise. Bringing him home is not easy, emotionally or financially, but I believe he deserves the dignity of resting where his heart always belonged. if this story touches you in any way, please consider helping me honor this final request.
