One last ask on Gene's behalf

Hi, my name is Pete Sauber, and I'm raising money on behalf of my friend, Gene Ketcherside, who passed away from complications arising from liver failure on September 3rd, 2022.

For a few months before he went into the hospital, Gene had apparently been receiving money from his roommates but not using that money to pay the bills or rent in full. Whether he had been confused by the high levels of ammonia in his blood (a common effect of liver failure) or whether he had been using the money to feed his alcohol addiction, we don't know. He is now beyond asking, but his roommates have been left to shoulder this financial burden.

We have previously reached out for help with Gene's July and August rent and have received some additional donations towards the outstanding debt. However, we still need more (It appears he had been making only partial payments on the rent for April through June, for example).

Please, give what you can to help Gene's roommates, who had contributed their fair share the entire time but are now in danger of eviction or having their utilities cut off. Thank you.
