Beth Minor is a fighter in every sense of the word. After losing her longtime career and being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune blood disorder called Cold Agglutinin Disease, she continues to show up — working seven days a week, battling crushing fatigue and refusing to give up. Her treatments are expensive; her insurance has a high deductible and going without care isn’t an option. The CrossFit Dynamo community is rallying behind her to help cover medical and living expenses so she can focus on healing instead of just surviving.

Help Support Beth Minor — Fighting with Graceful Grit
If you’ve ever met Beth Minor, you know she’s the definition of resilience. A longtime member of the CrossFit Dynamo family, Beth shows up with the same mix of grit and humor whether she’s tackling a brutal WOD or navigating one of life’s hardest seasons.
Last year Beth’s life was turned upside down when she unexpectedly lost her job, a major career setback after more than 32 years in business operations and analytics. Despite months of searching the job market proved brutal and she was eventually forced to take a much lower-paying position just to stay afloat. She has been working seven days a week, full time in the day and bartending weekends, simply to cover her mortgage, utilities, groceries and mounting medical expenses.
Then came another blow. Earlier this year Beth was diagnosed with Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD), a rare autoimmune blood disorder that affects only about one in a million people. CAD causes her immune system to attack and destroy her own red blood cells, leading to severe anemia, fatigue and other complications. The condition is chronic, incurable and requires costly ongoing treatments to manage. Without treatment, her red blood cell levels could drop dangerously low, putting her heart and organs at risk and making everyday tasks exhausting or even unsafe.
To make matters harder, Beth’s current health insurance is a high-deductible policy, leaving her responsible for thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs before any coverage begins.
Working seven days a week leaves Beth with little time to rest or recover from CAD or her treatments, even as she fights through crushing fatigue just to make it through each day.
Even in the face of this diagnosis Beth hasn’t stopped fighting. She keeps showing up to work, to the gym, and to life, fueled by her trademark determination and the support of her CrossFit community. But the financial strain of treatment, medical testing and missed workdays has become overwhelming.
On December 6th, the CrossFit Dynamo community is coming together to lift some weight off Beth’s shoulders, literally and figuratively, with a fundraiser WOD and GoFundMe to help ease the burden of her medical and living expenses while she continues treatment.
Beth has spent her life lifting others up and rallying for those in need. Now it’s our turn to lift for her and rally for Beth. She is the one in a million who has been diagnosed with CAD so let's ALL rally together for the one person who is always there for us - the one and only Beth Minor!
