Gnelida is such a loving, caring person, and a friend to lean on. She is a wonderful mother of two lovely daughters, a sister with a big heart, and a sweet daughter.

Gnelida has been working in the medical field for over 30 years. She is a hardworking frontline nurse at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista/UCSD Hospital who sacrificed and took care of sick patients. But unfortunately was infected by the COVID-19. She has been hospitalized in the ICU since April 24th and due to the unpredictable virus she was intubated.

Her family has been badly affected by COVID-19. In which affected not only her own health but 3 other members of her family were infected by the illness.
