Hi, I’m Jeremy.

I’ve always been known for a few things: I’m always hungry (literally and in life), I work hard, and I try to keep going no matter how rough it gets. But right now, I’m stuck in a spot where I need to ask for help.

My thumb was almost taken from me — it’s still attached, but badly injured and mostly unusable. It makes basic things hard, let alone working. On top of that, the car I just bought was impounded, and the fees are stacking up fast. I need just over $1,000 just to get the title — plus the daily impound charges, which keep rising. Also, I still need to fix an emissions issue and get it smogged to even register it. Rent is due. My phone bill is due by midnight. I'm a little bit overwhelmed at the moment.

I’ve worked hard my whole life and done whatever I had to do to stay afloat. But right now, I physically can’t work due to this injury. My unemployment ran out right when this injury occurred, and i haven't been approved for disability just yet. I’m doing everything I can to stay on my feet, but I'm at a point where i can't do this on my own. I've heard countless times, and I've always brushed it off as something that other people do, that it's okay to ask for help. So I'm asking for help.
