Hello Friends + Family,

This year we've decided to celebrate our birthday by doing something that felt good physically + emotionally by running a 13.1 mile half marathon to raise donations for an organization that provides scholarships to the brightest, most determined girls in need of support in Africa: One Girl Can!

We're raising $3,500 which will fully sponsor a girl for one year of university, including tuition, living expenses and laptop.

About One Girl Can:

One Girl Can is a Canadian and Kenyan registered charitable organization breaking the cycle of poverty and working to achieve gender equality through education and mentorship. The organization’s unique holistic model empowers a girl from the time she leaves primary school until the day she gains meaningful employment.

About our run:

Danny's birthday is on 9/5 and Mai's birthday is on 9/4 and we'll be running this half marathon the week before on Saturday, 8/28 at Seward Park at 2 pm PST. We'll send updates as we progress in the run.
