Olivia is 10 years old and has set herself a big challenge with an even bigger reason behind it

Over the next few months, she’s aiming to walk all four of the Shropshire hills that represent the houses at her school – Haughmond Hill, Stiperstones, The Wrekin and Caer Caradoc . She hopes to complete them all by the end of July.

Olivia came up with this idea herself. She thought it would be a great way to connect her school life with something that really matters to her, and turn it into something positive for others.

She has chosen to support both the MS Society UK and Alzheimer’s research for very personal reasons.

Her grandad is living with MS, and it’s something she sees the impact of. In her words, it has taken away a lot of his dignity, and she wants to do something to help, not just for him, but for others going through the same thing.

She is also doing this for her great grandad, who has Alzheimer’s disease. He is a big part of her life, and she wants to do what she can to help fund research and support that could make a difference for families like hers.

Olivia is a determined young girl with big ideas. Once she sets her mind to something, she really goes for it, and this challenge is no different.

She’s hoping to raise £500, which will be split between the two charities. Every donation, no matter the size, will mean a lot to her and will help support two causes that are very close to her heart.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read her story and for supporting her along the way.
