Jumping 15,000ft in Memory of My Grandad, Colin Grimshaw on the 22/11/2025 - now postponed to April 19th 2026 as it was cancelled whilst we was there due to weather conditions- with it being end of skydiving season we have moved it to April where there a high chance of jumping - Thank you to everyone for your continued support.

In 2023, my amazing grandad, Colin Grimshaw, sadly passed away from Mesothelioma, an aggressive cancer caused by asbestos exposure.

My grandad was truly one of a kind — stubborn at times, but with the biggest heart. He dedicated his life to helping others: fostering children, adopting two, and being there for absolutely anyone who needed him. If you ever needed help, you could always rely on Colin. He was the head of our family — strong, loving, and the kind of person who changed lives just by being in them.

When he got ill in late 2021, we were by his side every step of the way. He fought so hard and for a while, we thought he was getting better… but by December 2022 , it came back much worse. It all happened so quickly, and even though he stayed strong until the very end, this horrible disease took him from us far too soon.

Asbestos is a killer, and the heartbreaking truth is that most people don’t even know they have Mesothelioma until it’s too late.

That’s why I’m doing a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for Mesothelioma UK, who support people and families affected by this devastating illness. I’m not sure exactly what the money goes towards — whether it’s research, support, or care — but I do know it helps people like my grandad and families like ours, and that’s all that matters.

Cancer is the worst thing imaginable — it takes away the people you love the most.
