Hi everyone,

My name is Maya, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope during an incredibly challenging time. I recently graduated this past May and am preparing to start graduate school in just a few weeks — a journey I’ve worked hard for and am truly proud of.

Unfortunately, two weeks after graduation, I lost my job, which caused a major setback in my ability to stay afloat. Without much support to lean on, I’ve had to navigate every step on my own. I've always been driven and determined, finding creative ways to make ends meet, but this unexpected loss put me in a very tough position.

The good news is, I’ve just landed a new job and things are starting to turn around but I’ve fallen behind on rent and am now facing eviction. I’m asking for help to cover the amount needed, as I do not have the full amount, to avoid losing my home while I transition into this new chapter of life.
