Hi friends,
My name is Ollie Eckard and I'm a 3-year-old husky who lives in DC with my loving (and sometimes too obsessed) mom. Over the past few months, my eyes have been bothering me a lot so my mommy took me to the vet to see what was going on.
Unfortunately, it turns out I have glaucoma in both eyes and my right eye is now fully blind... no more squirrel stalking for me with that eye. Sadly with glaucoma, there comes a lot of built-up pressure in my eye which causes a ton of pain and discomfort. After many appointments and tests, my mom and my vet have decided the best way to help me move forward in life is to perform an enucleation, AKA an eye removal surgery.
Because of all of my testings, appointments and now eye removal surgery, the financial burden has become a lot for my mom to handle. We are trying to raise money to go towards the cost of my surgery, which comes out to be about $2,600 as well as my other medical bills and recheck examinations. My mom and I would like to ask you to kindly consider donating to help raise money for my surgery, as any and all donations, thoughts, or well wishes are greatly appreciated.
