Hello all, I am raising money for a charity called Help Africa which is based in Uganda, This charity is very close to my heart. From my first visit to Uganda, I was captivated by all the kindness, generosity, warmth and love I was shown.

I arrived in Uganda for the very first time over 10 years ago now and after spending some time working and supporting the children, I fell in love with two beautiful girls, Fatuma and Latifah. They had my heart from the very first smile. After a very long process and failed adoption due to new laws and regulations I was officially given the title of their UK guardian and sponsor, I am 'Mummy Sarah'. I support their education and ensure they have all the medical, dental and other care needs in place.

I try to visit as often as I can, whilst there I visit the charity and schools, offering support and guidance, taking essential clothing including bras, blankets and other items to the slums, where my girls live when they are not in school.

With the money I raise I would like to 'buy an additional case' which is 220 dollars, so I can pack extra items, I also want to buy books, sanitary products and other necessary items the children and parent's need, items they are unable to access for various reasons, mostly the cost.

These children and families are perfect in every way, they want for nothing but to be loved, educated and have security with basic needs met.

The schools provide a safe place for the children; a place they can be children and receive the support they so desperately need and want, away from the potential dangers in the slum.
