Two years ago, a seven-year-old girl picked up a harp for the first time. Today, nine-year-old Genevieve has won five international competitions across three continents—and she has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City this July.
There's just one challenge: Genevieve has outgrown her current harp.
As her hands have grown and her skill has advanced, she needs a small pedal harp to continue her musical journey. This is not just about practice—to accept her invitation to perform her award-winning piece at Carnegie Hall on July 11th, she must have her own instrument.
Genevieve plays with deep joy and purpose. Her love for Jesus shines through every note, and she sees her music as a way to share beauty and hope with others. That passion has carried her through competitions in Charleston, London, New York, Poland, and Japan in just two years.
As one of seven siblings, we have always sought ways to support each child's passion. Genevieve's dedication has been extraordinary, but a small pedal harp is a significant investment. We have been able to secure a 10-year-old Venus Harp, but regardless of its age, the cost is beyond what we can afford on our own.
What We Need:
10-year-old Venus Harp: $11,000
Replacement Strings: $800
Harp Regulation: $450
Transportation Cover: $800
Harp Dolly: $1,050
Total: $14,100
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring Genevieve closer to Carnegie Hall and supports her continued growth as a young musician. We're grateful for any support you can offer as we help her reach for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Thank you for believing in Genevieve and her music.
