Chasing my rugby dream at 16...
Hiya, my name is Faryn, I am 16 years old and I have an opportunity that I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams.
Through hard work and determination, I have been offered a position at Oaklands College (Saracens Academy Pathway), and in addition, I have also been nominated for an assessment for the England U18s Pathway through Essex (my county club).
To continue following my dream to play professional rugby, Oaklands is my next step. To be able to achieve this I need to move away from my home in Clacton-on-Sea to become a residential student. Moving away means renting student accomodation and covering travel, kit and other unforeseen costs. While I have my parents support, these expenses are beyond what they can reasonably support on their own. I need extra help to make this my reality.
Every donation no matter how small, will help me significantly on my journey to fulfil my dream. However, if you cannot donate, sharing my story means just as much.
I'm ready to continue my hard work and determination and can't wait to share my journey with you :)
A huge thank you in advance to anybody who helps me on my way.
I am working on my social media for anybody who wants to follow my journey. I will be posting soon - please bare with me :)

This is me walking out of the changing rooms at Twickenham Allianz where I was fortunate enough to experience a training session and loved every second.
Rugby isn't just a sport for me - it's my life.
From the moment I first stepped onto the pitch, it became something more than just a game. It's where I've grown in confidence, learned resilience and discovered what it really means to be part of a team.
Rugby has pushed me beyond my limits and shown me what I'm capable of both physically and mentally. It has helped me through some tough times and push through my anxiety.
The rugby community is like a second family to me. No matter how far apart we are, there is always that shared understanding, respect and support that brings us together. It's a bond that extends far beyond the pitch.
I have travelled to countless clubs - through freezing winter mornings all the way to sweaty preseason sessions. Every early start, every hard session, every match has been worth it.
I'm proud to be the captain of my U16s girls team, the BOBCATS. Leading my team is something I don't take lightly - it's an honour to stand alongside such determined and passionate players. Recently I also completed my season representing Essex County U16s, an experience that has challenged me, developed me and made me even more determined to keep improving.
Rugby has given me so much, and my love for the sport continues to grow every time I step onto the field. My journey, the people, and the passion is what keeps me driving in one direction - FORWARD!!!!!! I'm just getting warmed up.
