Hi, my name is Laura, and I’m Landri’s mom.

This GoFundMe is for my daughter, Landri—our sweet, funny, resilient girl who has faced more in her short life than most people do in a lifetime.

Landri was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), a rare condition that causes severe joint contractures and muscle weakness. Since birth, Landri has endured over 42 orthopedic and neuromuscular surgeries, countless serial castings, and hundreds of hours of painful physical therapy. Despite everything her body has been through, Landri meets the world with kindness, humor, and a heart that loves deeply—especially animals. She uses a power wheelchair and has very limited mobility, but her spirit is fierce and full of hope.

We are raising funds to help Landri receive a specially trained service dog—not a pet, but a life-changing partner who can help her gain independence, safety, and confidence. A service dog would assist Landri with daily tasks she cannot do on her own, help prevent falls, retrieve items, provide stability, and offer emotional support as she navigates a world that is not built for bodies like hers.

The cost of a fully trained service dog is overwhelming—often $25,000–$30,000 or more—and while we have been doing everything we can through fundraising and Landri’s Bakery of Hope, we cannot do this alone.

This GoFundMe exists because Landri deserves the chance to live more freely. She deserves independence. She deserves a teammate who will walk beside her through life—literally and figuratively.
