As someone who has walked the difficult path of recovery, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to leave treatment with no money, no job, and nowhere to turn. For many, the struggle doesn’t end when treatment does—life’s challenges keep coming, and it’s easy to feel alone. I’ve seen how a simple setback, like a flat tire or an unexpected expense, can threaten someone’s sobriety when they’re just trying to get back on their feet.

That’s why I started 'One Day One Choice.' We support recovering addicts in treatment, those recently released, and even people in jail who are active in our groups. Our mission is to be there when life gets tough, offering real help and hope, one day at a time. I’m especially passionate about launching a recovery hotline, where anyone feeling triggered or at risk of relapse can call and talk to someone who truly understands—someone who’s been there and made it through.
