One Day at a Time: Honoring Robert’s Unforgettable Spirit
Donation protected
As many of you already know, we lost our beloved friend, Robert Johnson III, on February 23, 2024, after a brief hospitalization. For over a decade, Robert wasn’t just an employee at the Trillium Center—he embodied its very spirit. His passion as a peer support specialist touched countless lives, leaving everyone a little lighter and a lot happier. Now, as he’s laid to rest at Quantico National Cemetery on May 6 at 2:00 PM, we’re coming together to help his sister, Cynthia, raise $5,000 to cover the funeral and burial expenses.
Robert’s heart was his superpower. Every day, he set out with a simple mission: to make at least one person’s day a little brighter. Whether it was a perfectly timed joke that turned a tough moment into shared laughter or a heartfelt conversation that offered hope, Robert had a way of lifting people up just when they needed it most.
There was so much more to him than compassion alone. To many of our staff, he wasn’t just a colleague or a peer support specialist—he was a force of laughter, love, and genuine connection. His quick wit, bold sense of humor, and magnetic personality lit up the Trillium Center, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. With boundless energy, a deeply caring soul, and a playful spirit, Robert made every encounter memorable—and every day a little better.
Now, as we stand with his sister Cynthia to honor his legacy, we invite you to join us in celebrating a life that was as fearless as it was caring. We are raising funds to help
Cynthia cover:
• Funeral service and burial costs
• Related expenses during this challenging time
Every donation, share, and kind word is a tribute to a man whose mission was to brighten lives—one day, one laugh, one genuine moment at a time. Your support not only eases the burden on Cynthia and his family but also stands as a testament to the profound impact Robert made on us all.
Thank you for standing with us and for helping send Robert off in the extraordinary way he lived—a life full of fire, humor, and heart. Let’s honor him by carrying forward his spirit and making every day a bit brighter for those around us.
