My 6 year old son Jaylen has been hospitalized due to cystic fibrosis; a genetic disorder and pneumonia.

At the present moment he is currently struggling with breathing due to his lung capacity being at 28% when initially hospitalized. We have been in the hospital for three weeks as of now, and recently have been informed that we still have a long journey to go.

As a single mother of two, this has been one of the most heartbreaking and stressful times of my life. I’ve been staying at the hospital with him around the clock to make sure he’s cared for and comforted; which has made it impossible for me to work. Between hospital expenses, medications, and daily needs, I’m falling behind and truly am in need of help. Any support, no matter how small, would mean so much and go directly toward his care and recovery.
