This is Ustadh Manal Ali. I am fundraising for our ILM School on the occasion of Isra and Mi'raj.

رواه أبو داود مختصرا: قالت: (قلت: يا رسول الله، أفتنا في بيت المقدس، فقال: إيتوه فصلوا فيه. وكانت البلاد إذ ذاك حربا، فإن لم تأتوه وتصلوا فيه فابعثوا بزيت يسرج في قناديله.

Abu Dawoud narrated that Maymunah asked the Prophet ﷺ: O Messenger of Allah, guide us concerning Bayt al-Maqdis. He replied, “Go to it and pray there. But if you cannot go and pray there, then send oil to be used to light its lamps.”

Indeed, the busyness and distractions of life often divert us from fulfilling our duties and obligations. Reaching the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is not easy for everyone, yet our hearts remain connected to it. In light of this, I have sent this message calling upon you to contribute in any way you can to support our beloved Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Let us come together, unite our efforts, and collect donations to send so that the mosque may shine brightly. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps illuminate the sacred place and brings light and hope to those in Jerusalem. Imagine their joy when they see that people around the world stand with them, support them, and care for their sacred mosque.

Let us remember the timeless wisdom of our beloved Prophet ﷺ: “Charity does not decrease wealth.”

By giving, we not only support a noble cause, but we also earn immense reward, strengthen our bonds with our fellow Muslims, and affirm that distance does not weaken our connection to the sacred mosque.

Let us act now, open our hearts, and contribute generously, so that the lamps of Al-Aqsa may burn bright, and our efforts become a source of blessing for ourselves and for the people of Jerusalem. Together, we can make a difference.

Also, part of this donation will be used to support the Arabic and Quran Department at ILM Primary School.
