On the News: #JusticeForPrince — Help Support Prince’s Mother Lay Him To Rest

My name is Lauren, and I have been Miranda’s best friend for many years. I created this fundraiser on her behalf so she can focus on her family and healing during the most devastating time of her life.

In 2024, shortly after Prince’s second birthday, Miranda reported her son missing. She was repeatedly given false explanations regarding his whereabouts, including the claim that he had been taken by child protective services—a story determined to be untrue.

For more than two years, Miranda searched for answers while continuing to advocate for her son. Despite her repeated pleas for help, no criminal charges were filed during that time. The handling of her original missing person report is now the subject of an internal review by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Everything changed when a detective with the Desloge, Missouri Police Department took her concerns seriously. Within weeks, Prince’s father and his girlfriend were arrested and are now being held without bond. On July 8, 2026, following a multi-agency search assisted by the FBI, investigators located Prince’s remains in a wooded area outside of Missouri, in Illinois.

Prince’s story has since received widespread media attention, with coverage from local and national news outlets. Through it all, Miranda has continued to speak publicly about the son she never stopped fighting to bring home.

Prince was a bright, joyful little boy who loved crab rangoon, making people laugh, and filling every room with his smile. Today, he should be four years old—playing at the park, blowing bubbles, and growing up alongside his baby sister, who adored him just as much as he adored her. Those moments were stolen from his family, and the loss is impossible to measure.

Now, our focus is on surrounding Miranda and Prince’s little sister with the love and support they deserve. No mother should have to spend years searching for her missing child, and no mother should have to face the unimaginable task of laying that child to rest without help.
