Help Katie fund her trip to the 2024 World Championships

I’ve recently been selected to represent England at the FIRST EVER Women’s Box Lacrosse World Championships in Utica, NY this September. This is a brand new challenge in the game of women’s lacrosse that myself and the 22 others selected to make history at.

While this isn’t my first experience playing in a world championships, this is my first as a mother and exclusively breast feeding. As transparent as I can be, this has been a major undertaking trying to juggle coming back into sport and being a mother due to Rowan refusing bottles so far (what can I say, he knows what he likes!). Because of this I have been unable to commit to full time work (or any really) and additional costs have come up in order to bring him to training weekends and continue this journey with him! While I have a major portion of the costs covered from money saved from the last world championships, I am looking to raise a bit more to cover my fees for remaining training sessions, hotel accommodation for these weekends in order to continue breastfeeding Rowan until he has weaned off (or hopefully accepts a cup) and extra to comfortably pay any remaining balance for the Championships.
