On Paper Books and Nathan Richards Fire Fund
We were very shocked when the location of our new book and art store burned down this past weekend. We were very grateful that no one was hurt, but sad that we'd lost the renovations we'd put into the space. Thankfully, we hadn't moved our stock in--we only lost our building materials.
Most sad, though, was that our friend, builder and musician Nathan Richards who was building our beautiful new bookcases, lost all of his tools (including his big woodshop tools like the tablesaw below). We're going to find a new location as soon as possible and be part of Sydney's cool downtown, but we'd like to ask your help to replace our lost materials and Nathan's tools first.
It's about $2000 in lost plywood, and $6000 for replacement tools. We know it is not a great time to ask for help, and so we are extra grateful if you can contribute. We are very, very thankful.
