Hi, my name is Emily,

back in February 2024 I had a brain tumour removed. Unfortunately the operation wasn’t entirely successful, and I ended up having a stroke on my recovery. I since experienced multiple complications and needed surgeries and drains fitting etc.

I have been left with brain damage. I have no sensation in my right hand, meaning I had to leave my career as a veterinary nurse. I have very reduced sensation down my right side and in both my legs, and I have no balance which makes walking very difficult.

I have been doing everything I can to regain function and return to normal, however the NHS physio was very limited so I had to find my own physiotherapy to help me continue to heal. I’ve been trying to fund this myself but it’s becoming impossible.

I am lucky enough to be able to receive universal credit but it’s not enough for me to keep my head above water and I am really struggling.

I am looking for a little bit of help so I can clear my credit card, and to help fund my physiotherapy so I can one day hopefully return to being a veterinary nurse.

My whole life got pulled from me and I am feeling a bit lost trying to rebuild it, and as much as I hate to ask, I need some help getting myself back on track again.

Any little help would be incredibly appreciated as I am in a bit of a mess currently.
