Easter Sunday as Vance was riding his motorcycle to church he was in an accident. As a result he was airlifted, underwent surgery, and later was placed on life support. Vance died on his birthday, April 22, 2022. My name is Lana Loper, and I'm a friend and colleague and raising funds to give to Karen Lord, his wife, for the memorial service, funeral expenses, and celebration of life. I've known Vance and Karen since June of 1992. If you had the pleasure to know Vance, you were blessed with his unique humor, zest for life and living, love of animals, nature, incredible real-time court reporting talent, work ethic, love for family and his grand-babies, who he was able to spend more time with moving from California and making his way to Florida, and God.
