Catherine Lipscomb Doran aka Cathy or Red is a wife, mother of 6 and grandmother to 7. Cathy has battled many yrs with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). It’s a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow along your nerves. The tumours are usually non-cancerous (benign) but may cause a range of symptoms. For the past 7 yrs it caused her to have pulmonary hypertension. Cathy has spent months at a time in the hospital for the last few years; everyone knew and loved her. She ALWAYS has a cheerful heart and is grateful to God for every day she’s had with her beloved family. Cathy is now at home on hospice with her family by her side. Cathy is my sister, and while I can’t heal the hearts of my brother in-law, nieces and nephews, I can reach out for help in making the cremation easy for them financially.
