On behalf of Emily and family ❤️

You might remember I posted on my story three weeks ago about a lady's brows I did who was about to start her first round of chemotherapy after undergoing surgery to remove her cancer.

She came with her daughter, Emily who was in uni whilst working in a care home to make ends meet and during a toilet dash mid-treatment I had the chance to ask Emily if she was okay. She discussed with me her worries about being the support her mum needs whilst trying to juggle her degree, hold down a job and care for her 17-year-old brother, Harvey, who was struggling with his mum's diagnosis.

Emily and her family's story really hit me hard, both ladies left emotional that day and sadly Karen's cancer was too aggressive for her body to take. She started chemo less than two weeks ago and has sadly passed away.

I want to raise funds for Emily who considers her mum to be her best friend, and soul mate but also her father figure role too. She is now taking on a house, caring for her brother, and putting her life on hold to plan her mum's funeral at the very young age of 23.

Hopefully, this fundraiser will help Emily and Harvey in these early days.
