My name is Amanda Farrelly, .lam a mother of four children. I’ve two dependant children a girl (15) and a boy (14) and the only earner in the household .

And we are looking to raise funds so my daughter can travel to the UK to get life saving treatment in may / June 2023 .Although she has been sick from when she was born, in 2016 she was diagnosed with a extremely rare condition called C1q deficiency and also chronic benign neutropenia. 

So, what exactly is C1q deficiency.Its is a condition that can cause ear infections, meningitis, urinary tract infections, skin lesions, cataracts, loss of eyelashes and eyebrows and scalp hair, sepsis . 

She also has Chronic benign neutropenia & ALPS they are all rare conditions on their own to have all three is unheard of , the bone marrow does not make enough neutrophils in her white blood cells , her immune system is severely compromised this is also a very rare condition along with C1q deficiency . 

 This condition is also a degenerative one and she will only get worse as she gets older.All of her life she has been on medication but since her diagnosis in 2016 she has had to have regular frozen plasma transfusions and take a lot of immune suppressant medication which take its toll on her.

All I want is for my daughter to have a normal life like every other girl her age and to be able to enjoy going out with her friends and enjoy life.

Here is where we are asking for help

we  need to get a Bone Marrow Transplant which can only be done in the North Great Children's Hospital in Newcastle in the Uk.

We will have to relocate to the UK for 4/ 6mths , we have to fund this ourselves.The HSE will pay for ali transplant only . 

When she is discharged, she will be confined to the accommodation for at least 8 weeks as she has to be monitored closely, she will need to have bloods done 3 times a week.The whole process can take up to a year and can be very expensive.

As well as that i have to continue paying our bills here at home at the same time.

This will be life changing but also life saving .It will give her the opportunities in life that we all take for granted.

 As for us her family and her friends it would be a dream come true .
