Trent Taylor, fiance, 2 kids
Donation protected
On December 9, 2014 the lives of our little family were forever changed. My fiance was on his way home from work. He worked in the oilfield which is very hard work and very time consuming. My fiance , fell asleep behind the wheel and ran off the road. He hit a culvert and rolled his truck I think. Then after that a fire began. If it weren't for 2 local heros passing by Trent wouldn't have made it out alive. He sustained burns over 21 % of his body. He had several broken bones and fractures and on top of that a spinal cord injury. He currently has no use of his arms or legs. We have been blessed with the opportunity to move him to get treatment at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. This is the third hospital we have moved to so far. Trent has made tremendous progress already I feel. My kids and I have been away from each other 80% of the time. I have no set income. I think I have $20 in my purse as I am typing this up. I have spent most of my time with Trent. I just want to be able to bring them to Chicago to stay to visit and make sure my kids have basic necessities and whatever medical expenses. He needs all the encouragement he can get so please inspire us with personal stories of hope. I know that god is going to see us through this. So far there have been complete strangers treat us like family and if it werent for them and the little bit of family support we have we would probably not have made it. Im not the type of person to ask for help. I appreciate just prayers even. :) I just want to keep my little family together the best I can. God bless.
