One of our members, Bridget Tobin, was diagnosed with stage 3 proximal rectal cancer and is undergoing treatment.  She's currently doing neoadjuvent chemotherapy with plan for surgery/resection next spring.  She just finished cycle one of the eight planned.  

Bridget is the sole financial supporter for her family.  Her husband, Tony, is a stay at home dad to their three kids- Sarah, age 11, Alex, age eight- turning nine next month, and Charlotte, age three. They've been together since she was 16 and they've been married twelve years. It's their twenty years together anniversary on New Years Eve.  They had been planning to go to the mountains for Tony's 40th later this year but won't be going any more due to chemotherapy.  

Bridget did her residency at West Penn in Pittsburgh and is now at Duke Women's Health, Holly Springs. She's been a regular contributor to OMG over the last year and a half since she joined.  As we've shown in the past, OMG is a powerful force of bees, and bees get things done.  Please consider donating something to show our support for Bridget and her family as they navigate these unexpected challenges.
