Hello guys,
I just got admission into RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) Alma mater of successful film and theatre practitioners including; Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michaela Coel, Harold Pinter and Tom Hiddleston, to name a few.
It has been my dream to get into the school to study "Technical Theatre & Stage Management." I will undertake an industry placement working with the foremost professionals in the theatre industry and will be able to obtain a BA in the succession year of the course. This course will be a springboard for me to enter the theatre industry in the UK and globally.
Over the last 3 years I have built a portfolio in production management that includes:
Production Assistant, Asa Live in Lagos Encore, April 2017
A concert that featured a 30 piece Orchestra Ensemble. Held at the Eko Convention centre in Lagos, Nigeria and sat over 5,000 guests
Producer and Stage Manager, Son of Man, Oct 2018- Jan 2019
A re-translation of the Book of Job into a contemporary lens using research, dance performances and experimental theatre
Producer and Stage Engineer, No Fury, May 2019 - June 2019
A resulting performance as an offshoot of the research done during Son of Man
