Dyllon suffered a simple scrape on his knee the end of January. Nobody had any idea that the simple scrape would lead to little Dyllon fighting for his life.
March 3rd Dyllon spiked a high temp and complained of severe left knee pain. Throughout the day the pain spread into his left thigh. He was brought to the clinic and before long he was on his way to Children's Hospital in St. Paul. Dyllon has a severe Staph infection in his knee, thigh muscle and hip as well as in his blood stream. He has undergone numerous surgeries to attempt to control the infection and had a central line placed for the many IV antibiotics. The fevers dyllon has been suffering have been non-stop. As soon as its under control it spikes right back up, sometimes over 105.  Dyllon is now in the ICU on a ventilator thats helping him breathe. He is fighting for his life. He is having yet another surgery today 3/13 to try to control this monster. His mom and dad (butch) have been by his side the entire time, even going without daily needs to stay with him. Daddy jeff is home with his 4 brothers and trying to keep working to support his family. The other boys had a stomach virus that has kept them all from seeing Dyllon, including dad. Its too risky that dyllon would catch something and that would be devastating. This family has fallen on desperate times. Financially it is very difficult to keep up and the expenses are overwhelming. I am hoping this will help lift that burden a bit and allow them to focus on their beautiful son.
