Dear friends and family,

My name is Pamela Gbenebitse and I am the Wife of Omatie Gbenebitse.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my beloved husband.

He was known to many as (Steve, Mat, and more colorful names.)

He was a business owner of a small waste management company called "Mat and Nuri Inc." named after my son and him which started in 2008.

He was also a very lively member of his church, known for cheering others up and always available to help others.

He was a hardworking and generous man who touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.

On Thursday, January 26th, After complaints of dizziness and shortness of breath, my husband collapsed and was later pronounced deceased with an inconclusive cause.

As the family and I are trying to come to terms with this sudden death, we are faced with the practical matter of covering his funeral expenses. The financial burden is overwhelming and any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
