Omarye Watford

 My name is Athena Callicut the mother of Omarye Jalyn Durrant Watford. My son , at 26 yrs old was killed in a tragic car accident on August 28, 2022. Omarye was a great friend to those lucky enough to have known or interacted with. He had a great sense of humor, and was always there for a friend. Omarye left an impression on everyone he met- at 26 yrs old his bright smile, charismatic, personality, unshakable loyalty made him a joy to be around. More than anything Omarye wanted to know his family was going to be supported and cared for, even after he was gone. He wanted his son to have had all the opportunities he would have had had he been here. Omarye had recently secured life insurance we thought would be accessible immediately. However, since it was so new, it is contestable. Meaning we do not know, if the funds will be released, in time for us to pay funeral expenses, without delaying his funeral. This fund has been created to pay any upfront funeral expenses, as well as to support, and assist with the needs of his 2 yr old son.
