About 10 years ago, our dear friend Omar was diagnosed with a heart condition and at the age of 25, he had to have a pace maker put in. Earlier this year, he had heart failure and was hospitalized. Shortly after being released from the hospital, he had a stroke while driving and has very little memory of the incident. Since then, he has been in and out of the hospital. In recent weeks, his heart continues to fail so he was finally given notice that he would be put on the list to receive a heart transplant! His journey is far from over though as it can be weeks, months or even a year before he is able to get a new heart. In the meantime, he must remain in the hospital. Because of this, he is unable to work and his wife, Marni, is supporting their family of 6 (3 of which are under the age of 5 years old). Any contribution would be much appreciated as they have been accumulating hospital expenses and will continue to accumulate until he is released. We appreciate everyone’s kind generosity and ask that you continue to pray for Omar and his family during this difficult time.
