Hello everyone, my name is Hilal. I live in Germany and am in contact with Mervat Ashour, the mother of Omar (6), Soso (Sanaa) (4), and Nada (8) Ashour. I am organizing a fundraiser for the Ashour family. Mervat Ashour and her three children are seeking refuge in Egypt.

The network of travel agents and so-called fixers from Gaza and Egypt demands enormous sums for entry into Egypt. We wholeheartedly pray that the children and their mother will find a safe haven in Egypt. They need our support.

Since direct transfers to Gaza through this platform are not possible, I have no choice but to collect the money myself and send it directly to Mervat Ashour. Peace be upon you. My name is Mervat Ashour. I am the mother of Omar, Soso, and Nada Ashour. My story began on the fourteenth day of the war against Gaza when a barrel of explosives was thrown at a house next to ours, destroying both the neighboring house and our own. We were rescued from the rubble, but my children Omar, Soso, and Nada were missing. Three hours later, I found them at the site of the bombardment. I feared they had been martyred under the rubble, but fortunately, they were alive at Al-Shifa Hospital. After the bombing, my children were taken to the hospital without my knowledge, where they later met me, their mother. The journalist, Saleh Al-Jafarawi, had photographed them, and the story of Omar and Soso spread on social media.
