Hi, my name is Lesley.

As most of you know, my father, Omar, is the most hardworking man. He has a vast heart that holds our family together. He carries his family on his shoulders and works hard 24/7 to provide the best he can for his wife and daughters. He has worked hard enough to put me through college and graduate and give my other sisters the means to continue their education. My mother is a stay-at-home mom, giving her everything she needs to raise us. Unfortunately, on 10/20/22, my dad was on his regular shift like any day, when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle at full speed. He was walking back to his work truck, where his friend/boss was waiting for him. Luckily, many people on the scene helped him, which we're incredibly grateful for, especially his boss, Paul. My dad has suffered severe injuries that will change his entire life. He is undergoing various surgeries and reconstruction work. Due to these severities, he will take an extended time to walk again. We kindly ask all of the people who know, love and appreciate my father to help him and his family get through this horrible situation that will and has changed our lives dramatically. We will move forward with love, patience, and gratitude. Not only is my dad a fantastic father, but he's also a grandfather, friend, and brother. Please keep our dad in your prayers.

Como la mayoría de ustedes saben, mi padre, Omar, es el hombre más trabajador. Tiene un gran corazón que mantiene unida a nuestra familia. Lleva a su familia sobre sus hombros y trabaja duro las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana para brindar lo mejor que pueda a su esposa e hijas. Ha trabajado lo suficiente para ayudarme a ir a la universidad y graduarme y darles a mis otras hermanas los medios para continuar su educación. Mi madre es una madre que se queda en casa y le da todo lo que necesita para criarnos. Desafortunadamente, el 20/10/22, mi papá estaba en su turno regular como cualquier día, cuando de repente fue atropellado por un vehículo a toda velocidad. Estaba caminando de regreso a su camioneta de trabajo, donde su amigo/jefe lo estaba esperando. Afortunadamente, muchas personas en la escena lo ayudaron, por lo que estamos increíblemente agradecidos, especialmente su jefe, Paul. Mi papá ha sufrido graves lesiones que cambiarán toda su vida. Está pasando por varias cirugías y trabajos de reconstrucción. Debido a estas gravedades, tardará un tiempo prolongado en volver a caminar. Les pedimos amablemente a todas las personas que conocen, aman y aprecian a mi padre que lo ayuden a él y a su familia a superar esta horrible situación que cambiará y ha cambiado nuestras vidas drásticamente. Seguiremos adelante con amor, paciencia y gratitud. Mi papá no solo es un padre fantástico, sino que también es abuelo, amigo y hermano. Por favor, mantenga a nuestro papá en sus oraciones.
