We are devastated to share the sudden passing of our beloved friend, Omar Chaidez, a light in every room, a hero in and out of uniform, and a man whose heart was as big as his smile.

Omar was more than just a

Firefighter Paramedic. He was a protector, a friend, a son, and a constant source of joy to everyone who knew him. He faced tragedy with courage, having survived the Route 91 shooting, and still chose to live life fully, dancing, laughing, and lifting up those around him. He never asked for anything in return.

Omar was an only child, and his love for his parents ran deep. He selflessly sent money home to help with their medical expenses, never hesitating to put his family first. Now, it's our turn to show up for them.
