Omar and Aqib's outreach project for Gambia

Aqib & I have been presented with an opportunity to travel to Gambia with The Charitable organisation Smile with Gambia on the 22nd of March 2022. We will be travelling to oversee and contribute to building an orphanage. This is a cause close to our heart and we have previously completed a 3 peak challenge to raise funds for this project.

 

The Prophet Muhammed mentions that the one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this  as he held 2 fingers together. Let this be our motivation to help the Orphan children of Gambia.

 

We invite you to participate in making a difference to the lives of the innocent children of Gambia. A little donation goes a long way. All donations will be used in support of building an orphanage. Every little donation counts and will make a huge impact on the project. Your donation could change the lives of these beautiful children. The money raised will be for the following projects, Purchase sufficient land to accommodate a Masjid and a safe space for orphans to study Quran.

 

- Build the above and an outbuilding for the orphans shelter and where their nutritious meals can be prepared.

 

- Build a farming/agricultural area on this site to feed the orphans and make the orphanage self-sustainable.
